The Great Hythe Raft Race 2014

After a very wet start, things gradually died out and brightened up.  Excellent event, lots of colour and fun and great outfits.

BXUK beach motocross 2012, Ramsgate, day 2

I shouldn't have complained about the weather the day before...because on Sunday it was much worse.  Cold, extremely dull, windy and very wet indeed.  Spectators mostly sheltered out of the rain.  Conditions for the riders were appalling.  Light was awful.  The weather was the complete opposite of the previous year, when unbroken sunshine graced both days.

Cold, dull...but dry.  Light was pretty poor, certainly far from ideal for snapping fast moving bikes and quads.
