RIP 'the pistol'
This is the final picture taken with my trusty old friend, Canon 600D, AKA T3i, AKA 'the pistol'. The large black thing is part of the shutter curtain assembly, which of course waited till the sun was shining gloriously to fail after approximately 210,000 shots. She was a good camera and taught me a lot. Considering the extremely hard life this camera had, used in all conditions, relentlessly hammered and snapping anything up to 3000 pics in a day, it did well to last as long as it did.
